THIS IS WHO WE ARE
Long Horn Mothupi Guesthouse and Function Venue is a new guesthouse and special events venue located at Mothupi Square, Perdevlei section, Dinokana village, Zeerust, along the N4 freeway to Botswana.
This has been a dream envisioned by Mike and Pricilla Mothupi and their family for many years and was finally established in 2020.
The Function Venues are situated in an idyllic setting to capture picturesque memories of your big day.
What We Provide
GUESTHOUSE
The guesthouse is a mere 200m from the function venue which makes it ideal accommodation in a country setting for 48 of your closest family and friends for the day of your event.
The guesthouse has 24 rooms, with ensuite bathrooms, some with showers, and others baths. Price per room is R350, with a family room going for R450.
For your convenience, you can also use the guesthouse for up to 3 hours, for R150.
The guesthouse has plenty, secure parking, as well as a lapa and braai facilities, for your entertainment.
PICTURE GARDEN
Our garden is surrounded by bushveld, country and modern elements that offer limitless photo opportunities for your photographer to capture many sweet moments of your love.
To keep you energised on your big day, finger foods and drinks are also on offer, from Priscis Catering.
The use of the Picture Garden for 2 days is only R850.
RECEPTION HALLS
THE GRAND RECEPTION HALL:
With a capacity to hold up to a 1 000 guests, housing multiple spacious bathrooms for both gentlemen and ladies, the Grand Reception Hall is ideal for a large matrimonial ceremony where even you will feel like a celebrity.
THE BABY GRAND RECEPTION HALL:
For those who prefer a more cosy and intimate feel, the Baby Grand Reception Hall may prove more ideal with a capacity of up to 250 guests. Ideal for more than just your wedding day, the Baby Grand is suitable for baby showers, bridal showers, corporate meetings, graduation parties and more.
We know that no function is complete without a meal to complement the festivities, as such, the venue is equipped with a large kitchen and outdoor (covered) cooking area so your aunty can make her famous meals that have been kept a family secret for many years.
If you are not looking to lift a finger on your special occasion, look no further, at an additional minimal cost, Priscis Catering and Deco are ready, willing and able to provide for your catering and décor needs, as well as provide for wedding gown rentals and purchases.
